5 days since we arrived in Japan and this is the best meal we have, everything is extremely good and affordable.Very nice meal after visiting Jigokudani.
MorePretty good chicken ramen. A little oily. Restaurant environment is nice
Pretty average restaurant with fairly limited options. The ramen is ok, but it is steaming hot which may be what you are looking for after standing in the freezing cold watching snow monkeys! Tempura/deep fried offerings are good though. Good English is spoken by several of the staff.
MoreGreat food being served here! Highly recommend the chicken ramen and the fries are pretty good as well! The staff were very nice, could speak English and even knew about the bus times! Overall it was a great joint!
MoreAmazing food and beer. You have to try their local brew Shiga Kogen pale ale
The perfect place to stop for lunch to or from a visit to the Snow Monkeys! Good service, great food and cold beer!
MoreExcellent value and service. Good english menu and nice staff.
Deceptively tasty. Simple yet extremely flavorful food! Great mango juice, and the Shiga Kogen Pale Ale is unique with a Japanese twist.
MoreGreat stop for lunch after walking from the Snow Monkey Park. Highly recommended for delicious bites.
MoreThe only cafe i encounter during snowy monkey park trip. The food is good, price is reasonable, space is just enough to hold 100 persons. There is also parking area limited to cafeβs customer.
MoreGreat cafe, perfect as a lunch stop after seeing the snow monkeys. An offering of familiar dishes made with local Nagano produce. Must try the specialty chicken ramen and apple pie.
MoreWent there after monkey park, it is not famous for anything, so didn't expect the food was mind blowing good but I was satisfied with the ramen and friend chicken.
MoreDelicious stop after long walk to enjoy a good soft foods.
Easy-going and tasty! Went twice in one day!
This cafe is situated at the base of the Monkey Park near car parking. We had Fish-n-chips, Chicken-Karage and Ice Cream. Food was really tasty and so was the service. Quantity of the food was also enough. One more thing, staff was fluent in English and was very friendly.I will highly recommend this cafe.
MoreVery helpful people to give me a gluten-free dish. The salmon sashimi salad bowl with olive oil was tasteful. Beautiful to see. The coffee and hot ginger tea were very nice.
MoreThis is a great place for snack after a hike to the monkey park! Nice ramen and food. Free WiFi and Great place to relax.
MoreAwesome cafe near snow monkeys. They have good food and coffee. Also try the churros
MoreThe food was amazing and the service was great, they're really sweet and spoke some English. Hip atmosphere. The mulled wine was delicious! I can never get mine so smooth. Would definitely return.
MoreGive it a miss. Had the local ramen and beef dish - both super rough and really nothing to write home about. Probably find better food at the train station. Get a hot drink maybe?
MoreLovely spot and handy for a quick meal before catching the bus back from the monkey park. The staff were very friendly and had great english, and even helped get our churros to go as we were running late for the bus! They did a lunchtime special of wraps with salad, fries and edamame beans when we were there and everything was really yummy.
MoreTop restaurant. Nice place, very good food.
Delicious Ramen and apple pie. Worth to have lunch after the trail of snow monkey.
MoreVery nice cafe at the entrance to Jigokudani Snow Monkey Park. Beside a small temple. Sit inside, or outside at the beautiful patio. Order at the counter or wait for service at your table. Coffee, Tea, Macha or Americano. Biscuits, cookies, salad or sandwich. Enza Cafe has it. The cafe is very trendy and cozy. It's embedded in an extraordinary beautiful nature. Come here! πππ
MoreAmazing ramens. We tried all three choices, and they were all very good. Must have it!!
MoreAmazing place to eat after the snow monkeys! Make sure to try the apple pie!!
Nice trendy cafe near the entrance to the trail of the snow monkeys. Surprisingly good ramen. And the Apple pie is divine! Must have! Only downside is that itβs a bit pricey but affordable, what you would expect from a touristy area.
MoreReally nice spot, specially after seing the monkeys with cold weather. I recommend the hot apple juice and the ginger tea. The Apple tart comes with soft vanilla ice cream.
MoreBeen here on several occasions and have loved it each time. Great local beers, sushi, deep fried for the kids and excellent ramen, especially the local miso ramen (ε³ε γ©γΌγ‘γ³) which is hard to fault. If you're short of time there's also a great take away section.
MoreThe special ramen (we asked for spicy as well) was incredible. Surprisingly good. Great place with a nice staff.
MoreHeavenly food. Savior after good climb to the monkey park. All the hip options available from around the world. We ate the ramen, salad and fries. Total satisfaction was served. Vegan friendly place.
MoreSmall Cafe near the entrance to trail that leads to Snow Monkey Park (Jigokudani). We ordered some chicken nuggets, french fries, and coffee after hiking for almost 2 hours (to and from the park). They also have ramen and udon if you want more filling and proper meal. This Cafe also serves as a meeting point for hotel staff to pick you up, at least in case of the Shabu Onsen hotel that we stayed in. You just need to ask person at registry to call your hotel. Person from our hotel arrived within ten minutes.
MoreIncredible ramen, just what you need after a cold visit to the monkeys! Apple pie was gorgeous too.
MoreBest place to take a break after from the monkey park, you can enjoy some time while waiting the bus and dont forget to try the ramen, surprisingly good taste, i called it "Ramen Godog" since it similar with my local cuisine called "Mie Godog"
MoreA cafe right at the foot of the entrance to the Snow Monkey resort.
Whether u are going up or coming down from the Jigokudani Valley, you will bound to walk past this cafe. Friendly service, good ramen and some light bites like French fries and fried chicken are all available here. Great for a perk me up coffee in the morning or just as a resting place for a quick meal when you come down from the valley and waiting for the next bus.
MoreThe chicken ramen here is surprising good! Recommended to come here for lunch before taking the long walk to the Snow Monkey Park
MoreApple juice tasting tray very delicious.
I lived in Japan for two months and ate at so so many places and THIS is the best food and drink I've had ever while here. The apple pie is magical and the sushi is incredibly fresh and delicious. I also got the hot chocolate which i loved!!! I would come back to Nagano just to eat here again.
Morenice place to warm up after the snow monkey. spicy ramen ok. fried chicken, prawn tempura n churro nice. they also have vegie wrap for my mom who is vegan.
MoreFriendly staff and excellent apple pie. The Nagano region is well known for its apples so worth a try after visiting the Snow Monkey Park.
Morewe stopped here for a snack after visiting the snow monkeys. we purchased fried potatoes, fried chicken, hot chocolate and hot apple juice. all the food and drinks were good. i especially enjoyed the hot apple juice and fried chicken. we sat outside on a little table there was inside seating, if you were prepared to wait.
MoreAwesome coffee, we've had a lot in Japan, this has been the best. Caramel Macchiato is highly rated.
MorePerfect way to end a hike into the mountains. Warm ramen, warm apple juice, hot chocolate, and karaage (chicken). Nagano area is known for their apples, so tried everything apple. Food isn't as good as a restaurant, but is perfect for a cafe. Good service, clean cafe, and friendly staff.
MoreStopped for coffee here before going up to see the snow monkeys. Nice coffees - lattes - served in large mug. But very expensive! Paid ~AUD$15 for 2 coffees!
MoreA bit pricey, but the local miso ramen they have is great. Also enjoyed the local apple beer, even though that was very expensive as well (even when compared to the other beer on the menu). Probably wouldn't eat here if I could just take a bus and eat in Yudanaka instead, but it's a good option if you have plenty of time before the next bus leaves (or when you're hungry outside of the opening hours of the restaurants in Yudanaka).
MoreSurprisingly good food for a tourist spot cafe. Enza is at the Kanbayashi entrance to the Jigokudani Monkey Park so itβs a convenient food fix before or after seeing the monkeys. A bowl of local Zenkoji-miso chicken ramen hits the spot on a cold day.
MoreHad the ramen and it is not bad. The menu is not big but for is decent.
Nice place to rest and eat after seeing monkey in onsen
Conveniently located along the way after the snow monkey hike, stopped for evening to have ramen and cheese cake which was good. The staff were friendly and able to communicate in English too. Overall a cool place for a stop if you're tired from the hike.
